I have made some very pretty cards in the last few weeks with trims and lace. But for the Heart to Heart Challenge I wanted to up the challenge a bit and use the upcoming August stamp of the month in a non-Halloween way as well as use a doily. I picked one up at a new little Greek bakery called Nancy's Flavours in Burlington. By the way she is a young women entreprener who I would highly recommend for morning coffee with friends. She serves her cookies on little doilies and I was in there on Monday when I started to think about this challenge. I also wanted to show that you can use a stamp from a Workshop to Go in another way as they are rarely brought out again after the workshop. This card shows the versatility of the CTMH stamps. Oh, how the mind works.
Materials: (All Close to My Heart unless stated)
Cardstock: White Daisy, Black
Inks: Sweet Leaf, Sorbet and Black.
Stamp Sets: August Stamp of the Month (Wicked Halloween) and stamp set from Cherry O Workshop to Go
Other: Button and twine from stash, saying from my collection of quotes, and Legacy black pen for dotted lines. Sponge and foam tape.
