The latest challenge on the Heart to Heart Challenge involved finding a photograph and creating a card that captures the mood of the photograph.
This is my inspiration photograph. I took it at the Brisas Hotel in Xtapa Mexico in February. There were beautiful flowers throughout the resort but the tranquility of this bowl appealed to me as it captured the romantic beauty of this part of the world. I wanted to make a yellow tile effect on one side of the card as the counter was done in broken tiles to resemble the sun. The black bowl presented a stunning contrast to the bright pink tones of the hibiscus. The card reminds me of Mexico and the wonderful holiday.
